SMAmap is a Community Resource

We’re counting on you to help us keep SMAmap a complete and accurate resource. If you see something we’ve gotten wrong or know that a business has closed, please email mapmaker@SMAmap.com.

You can support local businesses by adding them to the map. Don’t let your 'hidden treasures' disappear because other people can’t find them – put them on the map!

We’ve been very busy working on the website and drawing the map so it may be awhile before we can walk the streets in your neighborhood. Speed things up by 'adopting a block' and sending us information on the businesses located there.

  • Adding a business:

    You don't have to be a business owner to add one to the map. Open the 'Add/Change' form next to the map by selecting     from the toolbar above the map.  This is a great way to support small local businesses that may not advertise.

  • Adding an artist:

    Even if you aren't one, you can't live in San Miguel without knowing some. Give them the recognition they deserve using the 'Add Artist' form. Open the form by selecting     from the toolbar above the map. Please specify 'by appointment' for studios that aren't open to the public.

  • Adding a website:

    Some San Miguel de Allende websites aren’t associated with a physical location. Although they won’t appear on the map, we are happy to include them on the ‘websites’ pages. Just send the URL to webmaster@SMAmap.com.

SMAmap is only as good as the information you provide us. Please help make it great.
